Wrapping Up an Unforgettable Mission: A Glimpse into God's Moments

Updated: May 8, 2024

Dear loved ones, supporters, and friends,

As I type this last report, I am looking out the window from our hotel in Manila at the international airport.

It’s been an incredible journey, with so many “God moments”!

On Monday, November 6th, we made our last two ministry appointments. We sat down and visited young women who’ve been sexually abused over lunch. We shared our experiences with them and attempted to encourage them as best we could. No pictures of this event available for privacy reasons.

Later, that afternoon, we visited a construction site in the mountains of Negros, we made a land purchase, so this small village could have their own church. As you can see, the villagers have come a long way in building their new church home.

One of these pictures encapsulates our whole missionary journey. It was a BIG SCREEN display of (Jeremiah 29:11) --

“For I know the plans that I have for you,” says the Lord. “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future.”

Everyone reading this should know, “You are created with a purpose.” Don’t buy into the world’s lie that, “you don’t matter.”

With love and deep respect, Rev. Lance & Kim Anh Missionaries-in-residence Daybreak Community Church Encouraging Word International
